O zmianach w kodeksie mówili w Wejherowie posłowie PiS
Obywatele będą mieli większy wgląd w pracę samorządów, znikną też „niezatapialni” wójtowie i burmistrzowie – przekonywali w Wejherowie pomorscy posłowie Prawa i Sprawiedliwości w związku ze zmianami w kodeksie wyborczym.
– Narzędzia które pozwolą na większą kontrolę samorządów przez obywateli – mówi posłanka PiS Dorota Arciszewska-Mielewczyk.
Nowe rozwiązania m.in. do pięciu lat wydłużają kadencję gmin, powiatów i sejmików wojewódzkich. Wprowadzają też dwu kadencyjność wójtów, burmistrzów i prezydentów miast – co zdaniem posła PiS Marcina Horały ukróci nadużywanie przez nich władzy. Nowe przepisy wprowadzają też obywatelską inicjatywę ustawodawczą, rejestrację głosowania radnych i nagrania sesji. Nowelizacja likwiduje także jednomandatowe okręgi wyborcze w gminach powyżej 20 tys mieszkańców zastępując je ordynacją proporcjonalną. Sejm przyjął już wszystkie senackie poprawki, w tym umożliwiające głosowanie korespondencyjne osobom niepełnosprawnym. Brakuje tylko podpisu prezydenta.
