Wystawa patchworków w Wejherowie | 20.01
Serdecznie zapraszamy na wystawę patchworków do Wejherowskiego Centrum Kultury. Ekspozycja obejmuje prace nieformalnej grupy Patchwork Cokolwiek Pomorski i powstała we współpracy ze Stowarzyszeniem Polskiego Patchworku.
Grupa Patchwork Cokolwiek Pomorski istnieje od dwóch lat i regularnie spotyka się w celu wspólnego szycia patchworków i quiltów. Do grupy należą przede wszystkim quilterki z województwa pomorskiego, ale także z innych regionów Polski. Wystawa obejmuje prace indywidualne 30 autorek oraz prace zbiorowe. Na wystawie prezentujemy zarówno artquilty, jak i przedmioty użytkowe: narzuty, poduszki i torby szyte metodą patchworku. Patchwork to zszywanie małych kawałków tkanin w większą całość, quilt to wynik zszycia ze sobą kilku warstw tkanin poprzez przepikowanie ich razem.
