Byłe warsztaty Powiatowego Zespołu Szkół nr 3 w Kościerzynie dla wojska
Powiat kościerski przekaże wojsku budynki byłego internatu i warsztatów Powiatowego Zespołu Szkół nr 3 w Kościerzynie. Obiekty będą bazą pododdziałów Wojsk Obrony Terytorialnej.
– To jedna z najważniejszych uchwał w tej kadencji – ocenia starosta Alicja Żurawska.
Na ostatniej sesji radni podjęli jednogłośnie uchwałę o sprzedaży na rzecz Ministerstwa Obrony Narodowej za kwotę półtora mln złotych wysokiej i niskiej części internatu. Jednocześnie w formie darowizny przekażą budynek warsztatów, który będzie wykorzystywany jako magazyn do przechowywania sprzętu wojskowego. W obiektach przekazanych przez powiat będą się odbywały jedynie zajęcia teoretyczne. – Szkolenia praktyczne będą poza miastem – zapewnia starosta Żurawska. Przygotowanie jednostki i przebudowa obiektów w Kościerzynie potrwa 2 lata. Pierwsi rekruci rozpoczną szkolenia w 2020 roku.
