Podziękowali wolontariuszom z wejherowskiego szpitala
Ich pomoc jest nieoceniona, więc musi być doceniona – mówiono o wolontariuszach ze szpitala w Wejherowie. Z okazji Międzynarodowego Dnia Wolontariusza za zaangażowanie i poświęcenie podziękowali im wczoraj pacjenci oraz władze placówki.
– Personel nie ma na to czasu, a to bardzo ważne, bo dzięki rozmowie pacjenci nie czują się tylko przypadkami medycznymi – mówi koordynatorka wolontariuszy z wejherowskiego szpitala, Urszula Czachorowska.
Pomagają przy drobnych pracach, porządkują lecznicę, ale ich głównym zadaniem jest rozmowa z chorymi. Dla wolontariuszy wystąpił chór Harmonia, najbardziej aktywnych z oddziału kardiologicznego nagrodzono. Sami zainteresowani podkreślali, że najważniejsza jest chęć pomagania. W szpitalu specjalistycznym im Floriana Ceynowy w Wejherowie aktywnie działa ponad 180 wolontariuszy.
