Gmina Puck rozpoczęła cykliczne zebrania wiejskie w każdej ze swoich miejscowości. Co roku przedstawiciele urzędu spotykają się z mieszkańcami by porozmawiać o kierunku rozwoju gminy. Jednym z tematów zebrań w tym roku jest gazyfikacja Połchowa, Rekowa i Mrzezina. Spotkania rozpoczęły się 3 lutego w sołectwie Leśniewo, mają zakończyć się wraz z końcem miesiąca w Radoszewie. Mieszkańcy gminy mogą przekazywać do sołtysów wsi tematy, na jakie chcieliby rozmawiać z urzędnikami – Ci deklarują, że zaproszą na spotkanie w razie potrzeb na przykład ekspertów od bezpieczeństwa czy telekomunikacji. Na spotkaniach, które już się odbyły rozmawiano między innymi o edukacji w szkołach podstawowych, kolejne zebrania mogą przynieść dyskusję o gazyfikacji. Wójt gminy Tadeusz Puszkarczuk negocjuje z dwiema firmami, które mogą pociągnąć rurociąg z Redy do Rekowa, Połchowa i być może w stronę Mrzezina. Wszystko zależy jednak od woli mieszkańców.
