Lodowisko w Gdyni ze wsparciem Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki
Gdynia otrzyma 3,5 mln zł na budowę miejskiego lodowiska – wsparcie pozyskano z Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki. Lodowisko powstanie w sąsiedztwie Zespołu Szkół Usługowych, w sąsiedztwie przystanku SKM Gdynia Stocznia.
We wrześniu zaprezentowano projekt. Nie będzie to tylko zadaszona tafla, powstaną także szatnie, wypożyczalnia łyżew, parking i zaplecze gastronomiczne. Latem z obiektu będą mogli korzystać rolkarze i wrotkarze. Miejskie lodowisko w Gdyni ma być gotowe w 2019 roku. Tymczasem korzystać można ze sztucznego lodowiska przy ulicy Bema 33. Od września Gdyńskie Centrum Sportu przejęło administrowanie obiektem od Młodzieżowego Domu Kultury. Ślizgawka przy Bema działa od początku listopada.
