SKM Trójmiasto chce zwiększyć liczbę swoich pasażerów
O milion osób chce w tym roku zwiększyć liczbę swoich pasażerów SKM Trójmiasto. Ma w tym pomóc modernizacja 21 składów pociągów oraz zwiększenie częstotliwości połączeń do Wejherowa, Pruszcza i Tczewa. SKM ma 64 składy, z których na co dzień w ruchu pozostaje około czterdziestu. Pierwsze wyremontowane pociągi miały trafić na tory już w zeszłym roku. Ze względu na upadłość firmy, która wygrała przetarg, inwestycja przedłużyła się. Pociągi zyskają nowy wygląd zewnętrzny, ale także nowe silniki i hamulce. Dla pasażerów oznacza to lepszy komfort jazdy i bezpieczeństwo – dodaje Głuszek. Dodajmy, że z usług SKM korzysta co roku 6 mln mieszkańców powiatu wejherowskiego, co stanowi 17% wszystkich pasażerów firmy.
