W Gdyni normalizuje się sytuacja na szlaku kolejowym po podmyciu toru. Przed godziną ósmą doszło do awarii miejskiej sieci wodociągowej w rejonie stacji Gdynia Główna.
– Nasypy zostały podmyte, musieliśmy zamknąć ruch pociągów – opisuje rzecznik prasowy Komendy Miejskiej Państwowej Straży Pożarnej w Gdyni Paweł Gil.
Po strażakach do usuwania skutków awarii przystąpiły służby techniczne PKP Polskich Kolei Państwowych. O 09:40 przywrócono ruch na torach Szybkiej Kolei Miejskiej. Kwadrans później uruchomiono też po jednym torze pociągów dalekobieżnych między Gdynią Główną i Gdynią Orłowo. Trwają prace na stacji Gdynia Główna, dlatego pociągi przyjmowane są i odprawiane tylko z peronu drugiego – informuje Magdalena Janus z zespołu prasowego PKP PLK. Nie wiadomo ile potrwają utrudnienia.
Zanim przywrócony zostanie rozkładowy ruch pociągów trzeba się liczyć z opóźnieniami – m.in. w ruchu kolejek SKM między Gdynią a Sopotem.
