Budowa Drogi Czerwonej w Gdyni wraca na listę projektów Korytarza Bałtyk Adriatyk – poinformowali przedstawiciele zarządu gdyńskiego portu i parlamentarzyści Prawa i Sprawiedliwości.
– Budowa Drogi Czerwonej ma dla nas kluczowe znaczenie – mówi prezes zarządu gdyńskiego portu Adam Meller.
Budowa nowej drogi to dla portu być albo nie być – bo teraz jego drogowe połączenie z resztą kraju to Estakada Kwiatkowskiego. To droga powiatowa, zatłoczona i niespełniająca warunków prawnych i technicznych by pełnić taką rolę. Droga Czerwona wypadła z listy projektów Bałtyk Adriatyk przez błąd gdyńskich urzędników. O jej ponowne wpisanie miała zabiegać Gdynia i Rada Interesantów Portu. – Już nie muszą – informuje gdyński parlamentarzysta PiS Marcin Horała. Droga Czerwona do portu ma się łączyć z trasą Via Maris – czyli planowaną trasą łączącą obwodnicę Trójmiasta z Władysławowem. Jest jednoznaczna deklaracja ministerstwa, że zostanie zbudowana – potwierdził poseł Horała. Dlatego zarząd razem z miastem drogę zaprojektują i wybudują. Jak ocenia prezes zarządu gdyńskiego portu Droga Czerwona mogłaby powstać w perspektywie kilku lat. Budowa ma być podzielona na etapy: do bramy wjazdowej na Bałtycki Terminal Kontenerowy, a potem przedłużona do ronda Karslkrona. Koszt oszacowano na miliard złotych.
