Radni Jastarni bronią Zatoki Puckiej i mieszkańców
Radni Jastarni piszą do prezydenta, premiera i ministra środowiska – protestują przeciwko opracowywanym przez ekologów planom ochrony przyrody w obszarze Zatoki Puckiej. Decyzję o proteście podjęli na ostatniej sesji rady miasta, jako pierwszy samorząd na Kaszubach decydując się oficjalnie wystąpić przeciwko restrykcyjnym przepisom. Zatoka Pucka jest objęta obszarem ochrony Natura 2000, a nowe przepisy przygotowuje między innymi Instytut Morski w Gdańsku na zlecenie Urzędu Morskiego. Jak mówi burmistrz Jastarni Tyberiusz Narkowicz przepisy mocno uderzą w turystykę i interesy mieszkańców Kaszub.Radni w oficjalnym apelu do władz państwowych protestują też przeciwko trybowi ustalania nowych przepisów. Chodzi o konsultacje społeczne w sprawie planów ochrony, które prowadzą Instytut i Urząd Morski. Protestujący mieszkańcy, samorządowcy czy żeglarze mogą zgłaszać swoje uwagi do przepisów, ale dokument przygotowuje i wysyła do akceptacji ministerstwa środowiska zespół recenzentów – który może ale nie musi uwzględniać w nim uwag strony społecznej. O ochronie przyrody mówi Szymon Bzoma, ekolog i autor większości zapisów w powstających rozporządzeniach.W najbliższą sobotę osoby związane ze społecznym ruchem obrony Zatoki Puckiej powołają do życia stowarzyszenie – które ma dalej działać w sprawie powstających przepisów ochrony przyrody. Spotkanie założycielskie odbędzie się Miejskim Zarządzie Portu w Jastarni przy ulicy Portowej.
