To jeszcze nie koniec Gryfa Wejherowo
To jeszcze nie koniec Gryfa Wejherowo. Piłkarska duma miasta prowadzi rozmowy z nowym sponsorem. Ostatecznie też odcina się od władz Wejherowa, oddając prezydentowi przyznany 2 lata temu Medal Róży. Przypomnijmy, klub borykał się z finansowymi problemami od dawna. Do tego kilka dni temu z pozycji tytularnego sponsora wycofała się firma Orlex. W oświadczeniu za głównego winowajcę tej decyzji wskazała miasto, które nie angażowało się w pomoc finansową dla piłkarzy. Gryf wystąpił do władz o dotację w wysokości 700 tysięcy złotych, której znów nie otrzymał. Tym samym władze Klubu zdecydowały się na oddanie prezydentowi Medalu, który otrzymaliśmy 2 lata temu – mówi Łukasz Nowaczyk rzecznik Gryfa. Władze Klubu na razie nie podjęły decyzji o wycofaniu z II ligi. O wyniku rozmów z nowym sponsorem Gryf ma poinformować w najbliższy piątek.
