Strażacy z Wejherowa otrzymali nowy sprzęt
Nowy sprzęt warty prawie 77 tysięcy otrzymała Państwowa Straż Pożarna w Wejherowie. Większość pieniędzy pochodziło z budżetu powiatu wejherowskiego, 16 tys. dołożył Wojewódzki Fundusz Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej w Gdańsku.
– To była najpilniejsza potrzeba – mówi komendant wejherowskiej strażnicy, Jacek Niewęgłowski.
W zestawie była odzież ochronna do pracy w wodzie i specjalistyczny trójnóg ratowniczy. Strażaków najbardziej ucieszył jednak agregat do generowania piany lekkiej. Wejherowski samorząd powiatowy co roku przekazuje kilkadziesiąt tysięcy złotych na modernizację sprzętu strażaków z Wejherowa. W zeszłym roku zakupiono m.in. pierwszy w jednostce skokochron i pompy szlamowe.
