Historia dwóch kobiet, Julii i Jane, które niegdyś zakochały się w tym samym mężczyźnie. Dawne emocje i uczucia odżywają w nich, kiedy po wielu latach dowiadują się, że ich ukochany pojawił się w Londynie.
Mimo wielu wahań, obie postanawiają spotkać się z nim, ale wspomnienia sprawiają, że dochodzi między nimi do konfliktu i scen zazdrości. Pojawienie się ich wymarzonego mężczyzny prowadzi do wielu zaskakujących sytuacji, tym bardziej, że obie damy są statecznymi żonami, których mężowie przyjaźnią się ze sobą…
