Szkoła Podstawowa w Sławoszynie otrzyma imię Floriana Ceynowy
Mieszkańcy rodzinnej wsi Floriana Ceynowy uhonorują dzisiaj swojego najwybitniejszego rodaka. Jego imię otrzyma szkoła podstawowa w Sławoszynie. To miejscowość w gminie Krokowa, gdzie 4 maja 1817 roku urodził się Florian Ceynowa.
To on jako pierwszy w połowie XIX w. zaczął pisać po kaszubsku, tworzył ortografię, zbierał nasz folklor i promował naród kaszubski w Europie i świecie. Jego imię na Kaszubach noszą ulice w blisko 30 miejscowościach, jest on również patronem szkół w Sierakowicach, Kartuzach i Świeciu. Od dzisiaj Florian Ceynowa będzie też patronował szkole podstawowej w Sławoszynie. Podczas uroczystości odsłonięta zostanie tablica pamiątkowa, a placówka otrzyma sztandar szkoły. Uroczystości rozpoczną się mszą świętą na boisku szkolnym o godzinie 12:00.
