W Rumi została uruchomiona Karta Seniora
Ma ulżyć portfelom, poprawić jakość życia i zaktywizować starsze osoby – w Rumi uruchomiono dzisiaj Kartę Seniora. Na początek będzie ją honorowało 27 podmiotów.
– To będzie dla nas znaczące ułatwienie – mówi przewodniczący rady, Mieczysław Grzenia.
Uroczyste rozdanie pierwszych kart w miejskim ratuszu to zwieńczenie półtorarocznych starań rumskiej Rady Seniorów. Z ulg seniorzy będą mogli skorzystać m.in.w aptekach, podczas badań medycznych czy w restauracjach. – Polityka senioralna jest dla nas ważna, bo seniorzy to ponad 30 procent populacji miasta – mówi burmistrz Rumi, Michał Pasieczny. Rumska Rada Seniorów szuka kolejnych partnerów – docelowo Kartę Seniora ma honorować co najmniej setka podmiotów w mieście.
