Wejherowski Gryf zwrócił się o pomoc do miasta
O pomoc finansową do Miasta Wejherowa zwrócił się wejherowski Gryf. Odnoszącej sukcesy drugoligowej drużynie piłkarskiej grozi spadek do czwartej ligi, jeśli klub szybko nie znajdzie nowego sponsora. Gryf, który przez ostatnie lata borykał się z problemami finansowymi, mam poważne kłopoty po decyzji firmy Orlex, która wycofała się z pozycji sponsora tytularnego – a pokrywała przez ostatnie 6 lat większość wydatków związanych z utrzymaniem stadionu i pensjami dla 30 osób. Wejherowski klub gorączkowo szuka sponsorów. – Pismo z prośbą o wsparcie złożono już m.in. w Urzędzie Miasta Wejherowa – licząc, że samorząd tym razem uwzględni zasługi Gryfa dla promocji miasta – wyjaśnia rzecznik Gryfa Wejherowo Łukasz Nowaczyk. Niezbędne minimum potrzebne by drużyna w barwach Gryfa nadal grała w drugiej lidze to 1 mln 200 tysięcy złotych. Na zapobieżenie temu czarnemu scenariuszowi klub ma niewiele czasu – pieniądze trzeba znaleźć w ciągu dwóch tygodni. W Urzędzie Miasta poinformowano nas, że władze miasta wydadzą oświadczenie w tej sprawie w najbliższy poniedziałek.
