Węsiory najpiękniejszą wsią powiatu kartuskiego
Węsiory w gminie Sulęczyno zwyciężyły w powiatowym etapie konkursu Piękna Wieś Pomorska 2017. Najpiękniejsze gospodarstwo znajduje się z kolei w Kożyczkowie w gminie Chmielno, jego właścicielami są Anna i Jerzy Król.
Wyniki konkursu ogłoszono podczas dożynek powiatu kartuskiego w Stężycy. Dzięki corocznym zmaganiom kaszubskie posesje pięknieją, ich właściciele dbają o porządek, a mieszkańcy wspólnie działają na rzecz całej wsi. Tak jest na pewno w Węsiorach i Kożyczkowie. W powiecie kartuskim drugie miejsce w kategorii wieś zajął Garcz w gminie Chmielno, trzecie Małkowo w gminie Żukowo. W kategorii zagroda druga lokata przypadła Irenie i Grzegorzowi Dawidowskim z Borcza w gminie Somonino, a trzecia Brygidzie i Antoniemu Hazuka z Banina w gminie Żukowo. Podsumowanie etapu wojewódzkiego odbędzie się pod koniec października.
