Mundurowi z Rumi świętowali Dzień Straży Gminnej odbierając pochwały i nagrody
Strażnicy miejscy z Rumi odebrali podziękowania, były też awanse – podczas obchodów Dnia Straży Gminnej.
Świętowali z wyprzedzeniem, bo ich dzień przypada 29 sierpnia. To już 20 rocznica powołania do życia gminnej straży. – Z zewnątrz nie widać, jak wymagająca bywa nasza służba – mówił podczas uroczystości komendant Straży Miejskiej w Rumi Roman Świrski. W ubiegłym roku straże miejskie i gminne z województwa pomorskiego zacieśniły współpracę. Utworzono prefekturę, do której należy ponad 30 jednostek. Organizowane są akcje o zasięgu wojewódzkim – jak „Twój pies” czy „Bezpieczna droga do szkoły”.
