W Redzie powstają nowe bieżnie na stadionie MOSiR
W Redzie stadion Miejskiego Ośrodka Sportu i Rekreacji rozkopano, na płytę wjechał ciężki sprzęt. Powodem jest budowa bieżni oraz obiektów do uprawiania lekkoatletyki. Koszt inwestycji to prawie 3 mln złotych, z czego ponad milion 200 tysięcy zł miejski samorząd pozyskał z Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki.
– Stadion będzie wielofunkcyjny, przystosowany do uprawiania biegów, skoku w dal czy pchnięcia kulą – wylicza burmistrz Redy Krzysztof Krzemiński.
Projekt obiektu pozytywnie zaopiniował Polski Związek Lekkiej Atletyki, a jego budowa pozwoli na organizację w redzkim MOSiR imprez o randze mistrzowskiej. – Będzie jednak służył nie tylko zawodowym sportowcom, wstęp będzie wolny dla każdego chętnego – zapewnia dyrektor Ośrodka Jerzy Conradi. Modernizacja stadionu w Redzie potrwa do końca września tego roku.
