W Rumi zabezpieczą miasto przed ulewnymi deszczami
Ponad 6 mln złotych wydadzą w Rumi na zabezpieczenie miasta przed ulewnymi deszczami. 85 procent kosztu pokryje unijna dotacja pozyskana przez miejski samorząd.
– Działamy prewencyjnie, by nie powtórzyły się wydarzenia z lipca ubiegłego roku, kiedy zalało urząd oraz kilkadziesiąt domów i lokali – mówi Agnieszka Rodak z Urzędu Miasta Rumi.
Rozbudowana zostanie kanalizacja deszczowa, powstaną zbiorniki rozsączające – m. in. w okolicy Miejskiego Ośrodka Sportu i Rekreacji. Dzięki temu miasto przekroczy pułap 50 procent retencji wód opadowych. Koszt inwestycji jest potężny – miasto sfinansuje go w większości z dotacji pozyskanej z Narodowego Funduszu Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej. Rozbudowa kanalizacji deszczowej w Rumi ma być rozpoczęta w tym roku. Prace mają potrwać trzy lata.
