W Wejherowie powstaje „Naja Szkòła”
Od września br. duchowa stolica Kaszub ma szansę wzbogacić się o jeszcze jedną placówkę ważną dla kaszubskiej etniczności.
Pomysłodawcy i organizatorzy tej szkoły wychodzą z założenia, że znając tylko jeden język jesteśmy do pewnego stopnia zdeterminowani w patrzeniu na świat poprzez charakter tego języka – poznając inny język przesuwamy te granice czyniąc świat większym i bardziej otwartym. Chcą więc chronić i rozwijać język kaszubski, który jest kluczem do pomorskiego domu, a jednocześnie – obok innych nowożytnych języków, takich jak angielski, czy niemiecki – daje też szansę odkrywania nowych światów. Twórcy projektu „Naja Szkòła” zapowiadają, iż realizować będą podstawę programową Ministerstwa Edukacji Narodowej – w tym wypadku dla szkoły dwujęzycznej polsko-kaszubskiej, którą zamierzają wzbogacić o dodatkowe zajęcia z języka angielskiego, warsztaty teatralne dla młodszych dzieci (klasy 1-3) i dziennikarskie (radiowe) dla starszych (klasy 4-8) oraz edukacyjne wycieczki po Kaszubach i atrakcyjne wyjazdy w ramach międzynarodowych wymian możliwych dzięki współpracy z baskijskimi szkołami w Hiszpanii, które od 4 lat realizuje Stowarzyszenie Osób Narodowości Kaszubskiej Kaszëbskô Jednota. Chcą zaproponować szkołę, w której ani dziecko, ani rodzic nie będą musieli poświęcać wielu cennych godzin na odrabianie prac domowych.
