Rumia zaprasza na Zjazd Kaszubów!
Zjazd Kaszubów – plenerowa impreza z 18-letnią tradycją – pomyślana, by promować kulturę kaszubską odbędzie się 1 lipca w Rumi. Miasto gospodarz Zjazdu przygotowuje się na tysiące gości. Mówi burmistrz Michał Pasieczny. Będą kaszubscy artyści, malowanie kaszubskiego graffiti, strefa gastronomiczna i zabaw dla dzieci. Rumia łączy ludności napływową i tych rdzennych mieszkańców, którzy na co dzień pielęgnują swoje kulturowe dziedzictwo. Od samego początku, czyli od 1999 r. przyjeżdżamy na Zjazd specjalnym pociągiem nazwanym Transcassubią. To jeszcze jeden element podkreślający naszą wspólnotę etniczną, która była jedną z przyczyn objęcia powiatów kaszubskich granicą administracyjną jednego województwa, co nastąpiło w wyniku reformy samorządowej sprzed 18 lat. O płynących z tego korzyściach już dziś nie trzeba nikogo przekonywać, dlatego tak niechętnie przyjmowane są wśród Kaszubów wszelkie pomysły związane z nowymi podziałami administracyjnymi Pomorza.
