Będzie zakaz wędzenia drewnem? To pomysł UE
Kaszubi oburzeni unijnym pomysłem zakazu wędzenia wędlin, ryb i serów. Nowe przepisy mają wejść w życie już we wrześniu tego roku. Zdaniem ekspertów uderzą głównie w małe zakłady i lokalnych producentów. Chodzi o zawartość substancji smolistych, które zwiększają ryzyko nowotworów. Obecnie w wyrobach wędzonych jest do 5-u mikrogramów benzo – a – pirenu na kilogram. Od września ma być o 2 i pół raza mniej. W praktyce będzie to oznaczało całkowity zakaz wędzenia drewnem, a produkcja będzie mogła się odbywać jedynie za pomocą sztucznego dymu. Jak mówią eksperci – zakaz uderzy głównie w producentów żywności tradycyjnej. Potwierdza to Andrzej Konkol z Mojuszewskiej Huty – producent 4 zarejestrowanych tradycyjnych produktów kaszubskich – leberki, blutki, wurszty i kaszanki.
