To jedna z największych afer podatkowych na Pomorzu
O podatkowe oszustwa oskarżyła gdańska prokuratura 11 osób, związanych z dużymi inwestycjami budowlanymi w tym z autostradami A1 i A2 i budową PGE Arena. Mieli oszukać fiskusa na ponad 4,6 mln złotych.
Do przestępstw dochodziło od sierpnia 2006 do lutego 2010 roku, a korzyści z procederu uzyskiwały głównie dwie średniej wielkości firmy budowlane z Pomorza oraz dwie osoby prowadzące działalność gospodarczą związaną z budownictwem. Do uwiarygodnienia swojego oszustwa oskarżeni powołali mnóstwo fikcyjnych firm. Niektóre zarejestrowane były w prywatnych mieszkaniach. Do nich należało zwielokrotnienie kosztów poniesionych przez firmy-matki , którymi sterowała grupa i wystawianie „pustych” faktur. Według śledczych fikcyjne przedsiębiorstwa nigdy nie wykonały żadnej ze zleconych im prac. Łącznie w ramach śledztwa zabezpieczono 359 podrobionych protokołów odbioru prac oraz 370 fikcyjnych faktur VAT na kwotę prawie 37 mln zł. Śledczy podkreślają, że to jedna z największych prowadzonych w ostatnim czasie spraw. – Akt oskarżenia liczy 839 stron. Materiał dowodowy został zawarty w 112 tomach akt, w 18 tomach załączników i 50 tomach dokumentów – dowodów rzeczowych.
