Projekt „INTERCONNECT” zainaugurowano w Gdańsku
Najpierw Starogard Gdański i Słupsk, potem Szwecja, Niemcy i Litwa. W Gdańsku zainaugurowano projekt „INTERCONNECT”, który ma ułatwić podróżowanie w regionie i po krajach bałtyckich.
Chodzi o opracowanie i wdrożenie wspólnego dla wszystkich organizatorów transportu i przewoźników o systemu poboru opłat oraz zintegrowanie informacji pasażerskiej. – Już w styczniu list intencyjny w sprawie jednego biletu podpisali pomorscy samorządowcy i przewoźnicy – by ułatwić podróżowanie po regionie – wyjaśniał pomorski marszałek Mieczysław Struk. W projekcie Interconnect chodzi o wypracowanie systemu, który ma być wykorzystywany w połączeniach w regionie i międzynarodowych. Ma być najpierw przetestowany w Starogardzie Gdańskim i Słupsku oraz na wybranych liniach w Trójmieście. Rozpoczynające się właśnie prace techniczne mają potrwać około roku. Pilotaż nowego systemu ma być przeprowadzony w połowie przyszłego roku.
