Reda z węzłem integracyjnym w pobliżu dworca PKP
Reda zbuduje integracyjny węzeł przesiadkowy w pobliżu dworca PKP z unijnym dofinansowaniem. Samorządy: miejski i wojewódzki podpisały umowę w tej sprawie. Wsparcie wyniesie ponad 3 mln 900 tysięcy zł, czyli nieco ponad połowę kosztu zadania oszacowanego na 7 mln 700 tysięcy zł.
– Zmieni się funkcja tego miejsca na wielu płaszczyznach – mówi burmistrz Redy Krzysztof Krzemiński.
To m.in. budowa parkingów na ponad 200 aut, ścieżek rowerowych, przystanków autobusowych, postoju taksówek. Przebudowane zostanie skrzyżowanie Gdańskiej z Młyńską, przydworcowy teren zostanie dostosowany do potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych. Koncepcja projektu – ze względu na stopień skomplikowania – powstawała przez ponad 3 lata. – Wciąż zostało kilka problemów do rozwiązania – mówi dyrektor biura projektowego Budownictwa Komunalnego w Gdańsku Mariusz Sobczyk. Prace mają się rozpocząć po wakacjach, węzeł integracyjny w Redzie ma zostać oddany do użytku do końca przyszłego roku. Umowę na dofinansowanie oprócz przedstawicieli z Redy podpisali w poniedziałek m.in. samorządowcy z sąsiedniej Rumi oraz Gdańska i Somonina. Wojewódzki samorząd podzielił w sumie ponad 83 mln zł.
