Stężyca gotowa na wdrożenie „roweru metropolitalnego”
Stężyca będzie jedną z pierwszych gmin gotowych na wdrożenie systemu roweru metropolitalnego. Jest jednym z 14 samorządów, które podpisały umowę w tej sprawie.
– Teraz powstaje szlak do Szymbarka, ale podpisaliśmy też umowę na budowę drugiej nitki – do Borucina – mówi wójt gminy Stężyca Tomasz Brzoskowski.
Porozumienie zawarto na początku tygodnia. Dotyczy systemu, w którego ramach od Tczewa po Władysławowo do dyspozycji rowerzystów będzie 3,5 tysiąca jednośladów i 7 tysięcy stojaków. W gminie Stężyca będzie to uzupełnienie węzła integracyjnego w Gołubiu i rozbudowywanej sieci ścieżek rowerowych. Rowerem metropolitalnym pojedziemy też w gminach Żukowo, Kartuzy, Somonino i Sierakowice, Reda, Rumia, Puck czy Władysławowo. Pierwsze przymiarki do wdrożenia programu rozpoczną się w przyszłym roku.
