Wielkanocne palmy robili w Muzeum Kaszubskim w Kartuzach
Jak zrobić kaszubską palmę wielkanocną i z jakich materiałów ją wykonać – odpowiedzi na te pytania znaleźli uczestnicy warsztatów zorganizowanych przez Muzeum Kaszubskie w Kartuzach.
Do jej wykonania wystarczą gałązki wierzby, czyli „bazie kotki”, placówka zaproponowała ich wersję „upiększoną”. Gałązki wierzbowe z baziami święci się w niedzielę palmową. Dawniej powszechny był zwyczaj porannych sąsiedzkich wizyt, podczas których lekko uderzano domowników palmą, co miało zapewnić zdrowie. Poświęcone gałązki rozmieszczano w różnych częściach domu, najczęściej za obrazami, a także w pomieszczeniach gospodarczych.
