51 tysięcy złotych dla klubów sportowych z powiatu wejherowskiego
Umowy warte 51 tysięcy złotych podpisali w wejherowskim starostwie powiatowym przedstawiciele klubów sportowych. Wśród nich Mistrz Świata Strongmanów Mateusz Ostaszewski.
– To najaktywniej działające kluby ziemi wejherowskiej, które mogą się pochwalić znakomitymi wynikami – mówi wejherowska starosta, Gabriela Lisius.
Dofinansowano łącznie 11 klubów, m.in Akademię Piłki Siatkowej z Rumi, Kaszubskie Towarzystwo Sportowo – Kulturalne z Luzina czy wejherowskich “Tytanów”, od których trafiła największa dotacja w wysokości 20 tysięcy złotych. – Wsparcie powiatowego samorządu ma dla nas także wymiar pozafinansowy – zaznacza Mateusz Ostaszewski, który dopiero co wrócił zwycięski ze Stanów Zjednoczonych z prestiżowych zawodów organizowanych pod egidą Arnolda Schwarzeneggera. To drugie w tym roku rozdanie grantów od wejherowskiego starostwa dla klubów sportowych – w ubiegłym tygodniu 40 tysięcy złotych zasiliło konto WKS Gryfa.
