Jutro w Gdańsku Kaszubi pożegnają Janusza Kowalskiego
Jutro w Gdańsku Kaszubi pożegnają Janusza Kowalskiego – dziennikarza, regionalistę, inicjatora spływów kajakowych „Śladami Remusa”. Był on Kaszubą z wyboru.
– Był aktywnym dziennikarzem „Pomeranii” i jednym z najkrytyczniejszych czytelników – wspomina Bogumiła Cirocka z redakcji miesięcznika.
Urodził się 92 lata temu w Zamościu. Od prawie 70 lat związany był z Gdańskiem, od półwiecza ze Zrzeszeniem Kaszubsko – Pomorskim i miesięcznikiem „Pomerania”. Jako jeden z pierwszych w latach 50. głośno upominał się o utworzenie w Gdańsku uniwersytetu, przez kilkadziesiąt lat konsekwentnie nawoływał do odbudowy tzw. kolei kokoszkowskiej, zainicjował też spływy kajakowe „Śladami Remusa”. Uroczystości pogrzebowe na cmentarzu Srebrzysko w Gdańsku odbędą się jutro w nowej kaplicy o godzinie 9:30.
