Błękitna fala i łódka w kaszubskich barwach – znalazły się na logo Władysławowa.
Konkurs na znak graficzny, który ma promować gminę, rozstrzygnięto z prawie miesięcznym poślizgiem – z powodu bardzo dużego zainteresowania. Prace przysłało 145 osób z całego kraju, niektórzy po kilka lub kilkanaście propozycji. Prace oceniano według kryteriów: kreatywności i estetyki, przejrzystości przekazu oraz funkcjonalności pod względem graficznych modyfikacji i umieszczania na materiałach informacyjno-promocyjnych. Ostatecznie zwycięski okazał się projekt autorstwa Sławomira Paradowskiego z Wrocławia.
Otrzyma on nagrodę główną czyli 5 tys. złotych. Zwycięskie logo doceniono m.in. za współczesną interpretację motywu fali i litery W oraz profesjonalne rozwinięcie grafiki znaku w system piktogramów.
