Chmielno przygotowuje się na świętowanie Dnia Jedności Kaszubów – zachęca twórców ludowych do zgłaszania udziału w wydarzeniu.
To właśnie Chmielno będzie w tym roku gospodarzem bicia rekordu w jednoczesnej grze na akordeonie. Wydarzenie organizowane jest w ramach obchodów święta, ustanowionego na pamiątkę pierwszej pisemnej wzmianki o Kaszubach w średniowiecznej, papieskiej bulli. To duża impreza, podczas której można m.in. zakupić rękodzieło artystyczne, wyroby rodzimych rzemieślników czy przetwory od kaszubskich gospodyń. – Gminny Ośrodek Kultury w Chmielnie zachęca wystawców do zgłaszania swojego udziału – wyjaśnia dyrektor chmieleńskiego GOK Edyta Klasa.
