Reda świętuje w tym roku 50. urodziny
Kulminacja będzie w czerwcu podczas Dni Redy, ale w każdym miesiącu będzie się coś działo – zapowiada burmistrz Krzysztof Krzemiński. Na początek odbyło się spotkanie z mieszkańcami, którzy są równolatkami miasta. Wspomnienia osób, które wpłynęły na rozwój Redy znajdą się w książce szykowanej na jubileusz.
Bliskość Trójmiasta sprawia, że tam gdzie były pola wyrastają bloki mieszkaniowe. Ale pierwszym poważnym impulsem do rozwoju Redy była w latach 80. budowa elektrowni atomowej w Żarnowcu. Na stronie internetowej Redy zegar odlicza dni i godziny do kulminacji obchodów 50-lecia. Tam też opublikowane zostanie kalendarium okolicznościowych imprez.
