W Kartuzach wyremontują tzw. małą obwodnicę
Tak zwana mała obwodnica Kartuz – czyli połączenie ulicy Chmieleńskiej z Zamkową – zostanie wyremontowana. Gmina pozyskała dofinansowanie na ten cel.
– Dzięki pozyskaniu dotacji połączenie Chmieleńskiej z Zamkową zostanie poszerzone, zyska nową nawierzchnię oraz chodniki i ścieżkę rowerową – wymienia burmistrz Grzegorz Gołuński.
Stan drogi pozostawia wiele do życzenia, nie spełnia ona bowiem żadnych norm. Utwardzono ją płytami Yomb w latach 80 jako tymczasowe rozwiązanie problemów komunikacyjnych podczas budowy kanalizacji w obrębie Zamkowej i Jeziornej. Wraz z nową nawierzchnią i infrastrukturą dla pieszych i rowerzystów powstanie też kanalizacja deszczowa i oświetlenie. Tzw. mała obwodnica ma być wybudowana do lipca tego roku. Będzie alternatywą dla jadących przez Kartuzy z Sierakowic do Bytowa – co odciąży ruch głównie na placu św. Brunona i w ciągu Jeziorna – Zamkowa.
