W Kościerzynie wymienią lampy uliczne na energooszczędne
Ponad 3 mln złotych na wymianę oświetlenia ulicznego chcą pozyskać w przyszłym roku w Kościerzynie. Stare lampy mają być zamienione ledowymi, co ma przynieść wymierne oszczędności zużycia energii i przyczynić się do ochrony środowiska.
– W planach jest wymiana 1919 punktów oświetlenia ulicznego na terenie całego miasta – mówi burmistrz Michał Majewski.
Władze miasta już złożyły w tej sprawie wniosek o dofinansowanie z Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Pomorskiego. Wymiana na oświetlenie ledowe ma ograniczyć zużycie energii elektrycznej o ponad 55 procent oraz przyczynić się do redukcji emisji zanieczyszczeń. Władze zarezerwowały już środki na ten cel w przyszłorocznym budżecie miasta.
