Apelują o pomoc w odnalezieniu pamiątek po ofiarach piaśnickiej zbrodni
Muzeum Piaśnickie w Wejherowie apeluje o pomoc w odnalezieniu pamiątek po pomordowanych w piaśnickich lasach.
– Szczególnie nam zależy, by poprzez zbiórkę pamiątek ukazać dorobek zawodowy i społeczny tych osób – mówi dyrektor Muzeum Piaśnickiego Teresa Patsidis.
Placówkę powołano w połowie grudnia ubiegłego roku, by krzewiła pamięć o wydarzeniach z przełomu 1939 i 40 roku. Był to jeden z pierwszych mordów popełnionych na ludności cywilnej podczas II wojny światowej na tak wielką skalę. W piaśnickich lasach hitlerowcy wymordowali kilkanaście tysięcy osób, głównie pomorską inteligencję, duchownych i działaczy społecznych. Muzeum mieści się w tymczasowych biurach przy ulicy Św.
