W wejherowskim „Elektryku” otwarto pracownię fizyki jądrowej
Supernowoczesną pracownię fizyki jądrowej mają już do dyspozycji uczniowie Zespołu Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 2 w Wejherowie. Sfinansowała ją spółka PGE EJ 1, odpowiedzialna za budowę pierwszej w Polsce elektrowni atomowej.
– Chodzi o budowanie świadomości na czym polega energetyka jądrowa – wyjaśnia dyrektor „Elektryka”, Krystyna Grubba.
Sześć stanowisk wyposażono m.in. w najnowszej generacji urządzenia pomiarowe, oscyloskopy i komputery ze specjalistycznym oprogramowaniem. Pracownia ma wykształcić narybek dla planowanej na Kaszubach elektrowni atomowej. Będą się w niej także odbywać zajęcia dla uczniów z wejherowskich szkół ponadgimnazjalnych. Wejherowski Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 2 dysponuje obecnie najbardziej zaawansowaną technologicznie pracownią w województwie pomorskim. Na jej wyposażenie PGE EJ 1 wydała 75 tysięcy złotych.
