KOŚCIERZYNA: Nowe nazwy ulic nawiązują do tradycji
31 stycznia, 66 Kaszubskiego Pułku Piechoty i Mazurka Dąbrowskiego – to trzy nowe nazwy ulic w Kościerzynie. Dzisiaj odpowiednią uchwałę w tej sprawie podjęli radni miasta. Wszystkie nazwy – zgodnie z intencją władz – nawiązują do polskiej tradycji miasta. Nowe rondo na skrzyżowaniu ulic 8 Marca, Klasztornej i Długiej otrzymało nazwę marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego. – Odbudowane niedawno w ramach schetynówek drogi obok ulicy Kupieckiej, otrzymają nazwy 31 stycznia – co ma przypominać o wkroczeniu tu wojsk polskich w 1920 roku oraz 66 Kaszubskiego Pułku Piechoty, który walczył podczas bitwy warszawskiej w 1920 roku – mówił burmistrz Kościerzyny Zdzisław Czucha. Dodajmy, że nowa droga niedaleko pomnika Józefa Wybickiego w Kościerzynie otrzymała też nazwę Mazurka Dąbrowskiego.
