Nowy radiowóz jeździ już po gminie Karsin
Jego zakup współfinansowany był przez Komendę Główną Policji oraz karsiński samorząd.
Samorząd gminny dofinansował już 6 radiowóz od 1996 roku. Tym razem to Skoda Yeti z silnikiem o mocy 150. koni mechanicznych i napędem 4×4. Oznakowane auto służy już policjantom w codziennych patrolach – tak ulicami, jak też ułatwia mundurowym dojazd do miejsc trudno dostępnych. W okresie przedświątecznym radiowóz będzie między innymi wykorzystany w ramach „Akcji Choinka” do patrolowania terenów leśnych i przeciwdziałania kradzieżom drzewek.
