Gdyńska szansa na zdobycie Oscara – to dyplomowy film Miłosza Sakowskiego, wyprodukowany przez Gdyńską Szkołę Filmową. Obraz pod tytułem „Dzień Babci” wygrał główną nagrodę Best International Short Film na festiwalu w Irlandii.
Film Miłosza Sakowskiego opowiada historię Tomka, który metodą „na wnuczka” próbuje wyłudzić od starszej kobiety pieniądze. Kiedy wydaje się, że wszystko idzie zgodnie z planem, ona demaskuje oszusta i zamyka go w mieszkaniu. Proponuje mu układ. Chłopak dostanie pieniądze, jeżeli przed pracownikiem socjalnym będzie udawał jej wnuczka. Inaczej kobiecie grozi przeniesienie do domu pomocy społecznej. Zwycięstwo na Foyle Film Festival w Irlandii oznacza, że gdyński film będzie się mógł ubiegać o nominację do Oscara w kategorii Najlepszy Film Krótkometrażowy.
