W Redzie przy Obwodowej jest nowy chodnik i ścieżka rowerowa
W Redzie przy Obwodowej jest już nowy chodnik i ścieżka rowerowa. Trakt powstał w miejsce wydeptanej ścieżki.
– Ma poprawić bezpieczeństwo pieszych przy ruchliwej ulicy, którą kierowcy często wykorzystują jako objazd dla zatłoczonej krajowej szóstki – wyjaśnia wiceburmistrz Redy, Halina Grzeszczuk.
Ścieżkę i chodnik miejski samorząd wybudował wspólnie z wejherowskim starostwem, które jest zarządcą ulicy Obwodowej. Kosztami oba samorządy podzieliły się po połowie. – To inwestycja niezbędna w dynamicznie rozwijającym się osiedlu – mówi wejherowska starosta, Gabriela Lisius. Budowa traktu przy Obwodowej kosztowała nieco ponad 420 tysięcy złotych.
