Andriy Puskhkar obronił Puchar Świata Zawodowców w Armwrestlingu
Niespodzianki nie było – po Złotego Tura, trofeum Pucharu Świata Zawodowców Armwrestlingu w Rumi ponownie sięgnął Andriy Pushkar.
Ukrainiec, wielokrotny mistrz świata od początku był faworytem, sensacją turnieju okazał się wicemistrz, rodak Pushkara który zaskoczył wszystkich – mówi wiceprezydent Federacji Armwrestling Polska Paweł Podlecki. Na podium stanęli też polscy siłacze i siłaczki – ze srebrem Marleny Wawrzyniak i brązem Małgorzaty Ostrowskiej, Piotra Bartosiewicza i Lucjana Fudala. Jeszcze lepiej poradzili sobie w rozgrywanym równolegle turnieju osób niepełnosprawnych: wywalczyli 13 medali w tym 3 złote i zajęli 2 miejsce drużynowo za Rosją. Poziom turnieju w Rumi i jego organizację zawodnicy ocenili bardzo wysoko. Puchar Świata Zawodowców w Armwrestlingu oraz turniej dla niepełnosprawnych rozegrano w Rumi już po raz drugi. W sumie na obie imprezy przyjechało ponad 350 zawodników z niemal 30 krajów świata.
