KZG „Dolina Redy i Chylonki” obchodził 25-lecie działalności
Sprawnie działające spółki komunalne i wypracowane zaufanie między samorządami to największe osiągnięcia 25-letniego działania Komunalnego Związku Gmin Doliny Redy i Chylonki. Ćwierćwiecze partnerstwa podsumowano na gali Redzie.
– Spółki, których jesteśmy współwłaścicielami: PEWIK, OPEC i EkoDolina obsługują prawie pół miliona mieszkańców – mówi przewodniczący KZG, Tadeusz Wiśniewski.
Związek powołano początkowo w Gdyni, Małym Trójmieście Kaszubskim i gminie Kosakowo by uporządkować gospodarkę komunalną – zaopatrzenie w wodę, ciepło, odprowadzenie ścieków czy gospodarkę odpadami. Szybko dołączył Sopot, a później gminy: Wejherowo i Szemud. – Wypracowanie zaufania między samorządami jest naszym największym sukcesem – podkreślał Stanisław Szwabski, który na gali odebrał nagrodę „Róża Ekologii” za wieloletnią działalność w zarządzie Związku. Przed Komunalnym Związkiem Gmina „Dolina Redy i Chylonki” teraz kolejne zadania – m.in. przygotowanie się do zapowiadanych na przyszły rok zmian w prawie wodnym.
