Siłacze z całego świata będą walczyć o Puchar Świata w Armwrestlingu
Prawdziwa gratka dla miłośników sportów siłowych – w sobotę w Rumi rusza 13. edycja Pucharu Świata Zawodowców w Armwrestlingu „Złoty Tur”. Równolegle odbędą się też zawody zawodników niepełnosprawnych.
– W Rumi organizowane są po raz drugi ze względu na unikalną atmosferę – mówi prezes Polskiej Federacji Armwrestlingu, Igor Mazurenko.
Prawa do transmisji i relacji ze „Złotego Tura” wykupiło 30 stacji telewizyjnych z całego świata, a pula nagród wynosi 37 tysięcy dolarów. O „Złotego Tura” powalczy dwustu zawodników – w kategoriach: męskiej i żeńskiej z całego świata, m.in. obrońca tytułu Ukrainiec Andrey Pushkar. O puchar świata niepełnosprawnych powalczy ponad setka mężczyzn i kobiet. – Mimo że ten sport wydaje się tylko siłowy, to wymaga też finezji i techniki – przekonuje mistrz świata niepełnosprawnych z Belgii z 2001 roku Konrad Krawczuk. Oba turnieje rozegrane zostaną w hali widowiskowo sportowej rumskiego MOSiR. W sobotę i niedzielę powalczą zawodowcy, natomiast w poniedziałek i wtorek niepełnosprawni siłacze. Wstępna na obie imprezy jest bezpłatny.
