15-lecie Stowarzyszenia Gmin „Małe Trójmiasto Kaszubskie”
Stowarzyszenie Gmin „Małe Trójmiasto Kaszubskie” działa już 15 lat. Owocem współpracy są min. wspólne inwestycje – jak połączenie Cegielniana – Leśna między Redą a Wejherowem, samorządowcy cenią sobie także wymianę doświadczeń.
– Nowa jakość nastała po 2005 roku, gdy pojawiła się rywalizacja o unijne środki – mówi burmistrz Redy, Krzysztof Krzemiński – choć teraz i tu procentuje współpraca samorządów.
Stowarzyszenie powstało w 2001 roku, by umożliwić realizację wspólnych projektów. – Pomysł narodził się dwa lata wcześniej – wspomina współzałożyciel, prezydent Wejherowa Krzysztof Hildebrandt. Współpraca w Małym Trójmieście Kaszubskim najlepiej układa się na polu promocji i organizacji imprez kulturalno – sportowych, jak np. Regaty TrójCup. Nienamacalną, ale ogromną wartością dodaną jest stworzenie platformy wymiany doświadczeń – ocenia nowy burmistrz Rumi Michał Pasieczny. Ukoronowaniem gali 15-lecia „Małego Trójmiasta Kaszubskiego” było wręczenie nagród. Otrzymali je m.in. prezydent Wejherowa Krzysztof Hildebrandt i przewodniczący rady miasta Redy Kazimierz Okrój za inicjatywę utworzenia Stowarzyszenia oraz prof. Edmund Wittbrodt za wsparcie jego działalności.
