Podpisali umowę na przygotowanie dokumentacji pływalni olimpijskiej
Wizualizacja wyglądu gdyńskiej pływalni olimpijskiej ma być gotowa za dwa miesiące. Właśnie podpisano umowę na przygotowanie dokumentacji projektowej obiektu, ma on powstać w 2019 roku.
Za projekt odpowiadać będzie pracownia architektoniczna Metropolis ze Szczecina – w przetargu pokonała pięciu konkurentów. Do 2017 roku kosztem ponad pół miliona złotych ma powstać kompletna dokumentacja projektowa gdyńskiej inwestycji. Pływalnia olimpijska będzie pierwszym tego typu obiektem na Pomorzu. Jej sercem ma być 50-metrowa niecka, ale znajdzie się w niej także miejsce na basen 25-metrowy, strefę rekreacji dla najmłodszych i odnowy biologicznej. Inwestycja w Gdyni rozwiąże problem całego regionu, w którym brakowało pływalni o wymiarach olimpijskich – najbliższe są w Olsztynie i Poznaniu.
Całkowity koszt szacowany jest na około 70 milionów, obiekt został wpisany przez Ministerstwo Sportu i Turystyki do Programu inwestycji o szczególnym znaczeniu dla sportu. Planowany termin oddania do użytku to 2019 rok.
