Prawie 150 członków Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko – Pomorskiego wyróżniono z okazji jubileuszu 60-lecia organizacji. Uroczyste obchody odbyły się w minioną sobotę w Europejskim Centrum Solidarności w Gdańsku.
Wzięli w nich udział przedstawiciele prawie 70 oddziałów ZKP zlokalizowanych na całym Pomorzu, a także w Szczecinie czy Warszawie. Zrzeszenie jest jedną z największych organizacji pozarządowych w Polsce. Powstało w 1956 roku w celu rozbudzania szerokiej inicjatywy dla wszechstronnego rozwoju Kaszub i Pomorza. Podczas jubileuszowych uroczystości wyróżniono Edmunda Kamińskiego z Wejherowa, który jako jedyny spośród obecnych brał udział w pierwszym Zjeździe Zrzeszenia Kaszubskiego przed 60 laty. Jego zdaniem organizacja w obecnych czasach powinna kłaść nacisk głównie na rozwój języka kaszubskiego.
W imieniu parlamentarzystów i władz rządowych życzenia członkom Zrzeszenia złożył wiceminister kultury Jarosław Sellin, podkreślając znaczenie organizacji na Pomorzu. W części artystycznej wystąpił zespół Kaszuby z Kartuz, Tuchlińskie Skrzaty z Tuchlina oraz Marzebiónczi z Szymbarka.
