Mimo dotacji rezygnują z budowy Domu Dziennego Pobytu dla Seniorów
Władze Kościerzyny wycofują się z budowy Domu Dziennego Pobytu dla Seniorów. Tym samym zrezygnują z przyznanego im na ten cel dofinansowania.
– W przetargu okazało się, że oferty na adaptację i remont budynku znacznie przewyższały kwotę zabezpieczoną na ten cel w budżecie miasta – tłumaczy burmistrz Michał Majewski.
Dom Seniora miał powstać przy ulicy 8 Marca w byłej siedzibie Kościerskiego Towarzystwa Budownictwa Społecznego. Dom miał być przeznaczony dla seniorów, którzy potrzebują opieki rehabilitacyjnej. Rezygnując z inwestycji miasto straci też pozyskaną na ten cel dotację w kwocie 250 tysięcy złotych z rządowego programu Senior Wigor. Mówiła opozycyjna radna Katarzyna Knopik. Władze Kościerzyny zapowiadają powrót do tej inwestycji w przyszłym roku.
