Marina w Stężycy była oblegana przez żeglarzy i turystów
Regaty, zajęcia żeglarskie, oblegana wypożyczalnia sprzętu pływającego – to był udany sezon w stężyckiej marinie. Działała od maja do września razem z Punktem Informacji Turystycznej.
– Budowa mariny okazała się strzałem w dziesiątkę – mówi wójt Stężycy Tomasz Brzoskowski.
W tym czasie z kajaków, rowerków wodnych, desek typu SUP skorzystało 6200 osób. Do tego doliczyć należy tłumy spacerowiczów korzystających z promenady, uczestników szkoleń żeglarskich oraz regat – w tym wyścigów w ramach drugiego Żeglarskiego Pucharu Kaszub o zasięgu już międzynarodowym. Marinę nad Jeziorem Raduńskim w Stężycy otwarto pod koniec 2014 roku – razem z promenadą im. ks. Konrada Lubińskiego. Już w 2015 roku inwestycja otrzymała główną nagrodę za „Najlepszą Przestrzeń Publiczną Województwa Pomorskiego”.
