Jak zachęcić młodzież do biegania? Radzą trenerzy
Najszybsza w biegach przełajowych na Pomorzu jest młodzież z Nowej Karczmy. Uczniowie z tamtejszej szkoły podstawowej zwyciężyli w wojewódzkich Igrzyskach Młodzieży Szkolnej w Garczynie.
– Aby zmienić ten trend potrzebny jest dobry przykład trenerów i rodziców – mówi pedagog szkolny z Nowej Karczmy Ewa Kleist.
Ich zdaniem to zasługa dobrych trenerów i skutecznej motywacji. Jak wynika z ogólnopolskich statystyk młodzież coraz nie chętniej uczęszcza na zajęcia sportowe w szkołach. – Nie ćwiczy około 18 procent uczniów podstawówek, 25 procent w gimnazjach i aż 30 procent w szkołach ponadgimnazjalnych – dodawał dyrektor szkoły Dariusz Męczykowski. Podczas Wojewódzkich Biegów Przełajowych w Garczynie zaprezentowały się szkoły ze wszystkich powiatów z Pomorza. Na podium w różnych kategoriach stanęli biegacze m.in. Bytowa, Rumi, Brus, Gdyni i Kościerzyny.
